Article Guidelines

Rysite prides itself on providing the best articles possible to our community or readers. Therefore we've created some standard guidelines that authors need to follow.

Copyright Laws:
Any articles which are submitted to Rysite must be your own original work and cannot be duplication of any other authors work or articles submissions. If you are submitting articles on the behalf of another individual, permission of the writer must be granted prior to the article submission. Articles that do not abide by copyright law will be removed from our website.

Rysite is a family friendly website, therefore websites that contain any of the following type of material will be rejected:

  • Gambling related websites or any articles that contain gambling information (Poker, Betting, Gambling Guides)
  • Articles or sites promoting pharmaceutical or prescription drugs. This includes but is not limited to weight loss pills and sexual enhancement drugs
  • Adult related websites, this includes pornographic sites, sex shops, sex toys and sex related materials
  • Sites or materials that refer to weapons, ammunition, and other related information
  • Articles or sites that are designed to portray negative, slanderous and even deragotory articles about companies, organizations, or individuals
  • Articles that promote illegal activities, such as hacking, phreaking, cheating the law, tax evasion articles, etc.
  • Discriminative materials or websites regarding races, religions, or groups 
  • Articles that discuss promote illegal drug use, tobacco, alcohol, and illicit drug usage
  • Articles that promote piracy, replica products, or other similar articles discussing how to cheat the law
  • Articles that contain copyright or trademark infringements


We have the following rights as publisher:

  • Remove any and all duplicate content or articles which are submitted to our website. This includes and is not limited to those articles that are submitted to numerous categories with no changes to the articles before submission.
  • Remove articles that don't abide by our wordcount guidelines and editorial guidelines. All submissions must be of best quality possible, the minimum accepted word count is 300 words. 
  • Rejection of spam articles. We deem articles that include an extreme use of keywords and links to be spam related articles. Articles should have no more than 3 links in most circumstances. If we deem an article is spammy then we will not approve the article, and provide feedback on how to repair your article submission.
  • Articles linking to irrelevant websites. Articles should be on topic and relevant to the websites in which they are linking to. For example, if an article that discusses cooking is looking to a sports related website, that is deem for article denial.
  • Remove links found in the resource or article body; if the articles are linking to "bad" neighborhood sites, or websites that are down during submission, we reserve the right to remove the links

Other Reasons for Denial:

  • Non-English articles: We only accept articles that are in English
  • Direct Affiliate linking: We do not accept articles that directly link to affiliate products, you may setup a domain or point to a domain that then points to an affiliate link although we don't allow straight affiliate linking

In some events, we have the right to adjust titles and categories of article submissions. This is ultimately to benefit the article writer, as well as keep best standards for Rysite article directory.

Rysite is a 100% free article directory service. We do not pay our authors for the content on our website, instead we offer free exposure and backlinks in the article body and resource boxes. Authors do not need to pay a fee to register for oru site, and nor do they have to pay for article submissions. The content copyright is still held to the authors and credit will remain entirely to the authors of the content.

Ultimately we reserve the right to place advertisements on our website, including Google ads and other in-link forms of advertising. These are not used to deter from your links.
